Q. What is your expected attendance?
A. Last year over 4,000 people and nearly 600 family pets attended. This will be a high-profile event for Northern Indiana promoted heavily through TV, radio and print.

Q. Will I be able to sell product at the expo?
A. Yes, with the exception of food for human consumption.

Q. Will I be able to hand out samples?
A. Yes. Rules on the sale of food for humans is mandated by the venue. For inquiries of the sale or distribution of human food contact the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum at 260-482-9502. Pet treats or other animal product samples may be distributed but they must conform to the following guidelines:
- Solid treats or other animal products will be limited to "bite size"
- Liquids will be limited to no larger than a 4 oz. cup
- Ice cream or frozen dessert are considered liquid
- Pre-packaged samples must be smaller than 1 lb

Q. When is my space reserved?
A. When we have received and processed your Exhibitor Space Contract and received your deposit. You will receive written or electronic confirmation of your space reservation.

Q. What is included in my booth space?
A. Your booth space will include a cloth skirted table with a plastic table cloth, two (2) chairs, one (1) tall draped back drop and two (2) shorter draped sides. Your booth space rental also includes one (1) parking pass and two (2) vendor badges. (Shelter and Rescue booths include two (2) parking passes and four (4) vendor badges). Extra parking passes, extra vendor badges and space electricity are available at a charge and can be ordered when you reserve your booth. You will also receive a free link on our website to your site for all contracts turned in and fully paid by April 6th.

Q. Can I request a specific booth space?
A. Sorry, no guarantees will be made on location. We do our best to place your booth away from your competition.

Q. What do I do if I want to rent a booth or bulk space?
A. You will need to fill out and return the following with required payment either credit card form or check made payable to: Allen County SPCA, Attn: Kelli, 4914 S. Hanna Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46806, Fax: 260-456-5184 or email kelli@acspca.org.

Q. What qualifies for an artist-rate booth space?
A. All artwork must be of original design by the artist. No subcontracting is permitted. No buy/sell items such as ordering product and selling. New artists to the expo must email 3 digital images of artwork along with application. If not approved as artist status, you will be contacted.

Q. Can I share a booth?
A. Booth holders may share their space as long as all parties/products/services fit comfortably in the booth. Shared booth holders must all be listed on the application. Extra vendor and parking passes may be purchased when reserving your booth.

Q. What do I do if I want to be a corporate sponsor?
A. You will need to fill out and return the following with required payment either credit card form or check made payable to: Allen County SPCA, Attn: Kelli, 4914 S. Hanna Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46806, Fax: 260-456-5184 or email kelli@acspca.org. Depending on sponsorship level, we may need a digital corporate logo from you.

If utilizing space inside the expo, you will also need to supply the following:
• Exhibitor Rules And Regulations - signed copy
• Copy of limited liability insurance - if applicable
• Proof of Indiana’s Retailers License - Indiana retailers only

Q. What are you doing to promote this event?
A. We have secured a TV sponsor to provide advertising for the event and news segments promoting it on their NBC, ABC, CW, and FOX affiliates which amounts to more than 200 commercials and four feature segments promoting the event. We have also secured radio partners to provide hundreds of commercials and promotional mentions. We will also have on-site radio and TV remotes throughout the event.

Q. Who is behind the Northern Indiana Pet Expo?
A. The Allen County SPCA is a non-profit organization that does not receive national funding of any kind. All proceeds will be used to ensure the existence of a homeless shelter for cats and dogs in our community.

For Visitors

Q. Can I bring my dog or cat?
A. Yes. Spayed or neutered pets, at least one year old and on a short leash (non-retractable) and current on vaccines are invited to attend with a release form for your pet. Form available on our website or at the door of the expo. Pet admission fee is $1.

Q. Where can I get tickets?
A. You will be able to buy tickets inside the Memorial Coliseum during the event. Pre-sale tickets are not available.

Q. I can't attend the Expo but I want to help the Allen County SPCA. What can I do?
A. You can make a donation on line at our website www.acspca.org, you may call 260-744-0454 ext 203 or mail a donation to Allen County SPCA 4914 S. Hanna Street Fort Wayne, IN 46806. In addition to a strong need for monetary donations, we also have a wishlist on our website as well.

Q. Is the event handicap accessible?
A. Yes, the event is accessible as are the bathrooms.

 

For Shelters & Rescues

Q. How many animals can I bring?
A. You may only bring the number of animals that can comfortably fit in your booth or bulk space purchased. You must have at least one adult per two animals in the space if they are leashed animals. If the Expo staff deems your space overly crowded you will be asked to remove some of the animals.

Q. I can't afford to spay or neuter all my animals. Can I still bring them?
A. No. Proof of vaccination and spay or neutering for each animal by a registered vet is required for the safety and health of all animals.

Q. Can my animals go home with attendees who adopt my animals?
A. Yes.We will allow any rescue to operate under their own adoption policies. If you allow same day adoptions, you can exercise that at the Pet Expo.

Q. What animals can I bring that are available for adoption?
A. Dogs, cats, rabbits and reptiles older than one year old who are healthy, spayed or neutered and current on all vaccinations.
