What is the CatWalk?
This event is your chance to push all boundaries! Bust OUT all those ideas you have to GLAM OUT your client’s that - before now - they had nowhere to showcase these AVANT-GARDE looks. It’s your salon’s way to show off the talents of your fabulous stylists and bring huge awareness of your salon’s services, location and what is unique about you. And the bonus - it’s free to participate for your salon and all proceeds of the event benefit the Allen County SPCA.
You’ll be in a friendly competition with other salons throughout our area for the title of Top Cat! This New York style runway show will feature your over the TOP designs in hair, make-up and costumes on models you have selected to represent your salon.
The Cat Walk will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2013. The event raises money for the homeless cats and dogs that are cared for by the Allen County SPCA. All funds raised will contribute to the medical, socialization and housing needs of these animals that need a second chance.

What is the deadline to participate?
Only the first 10 salons to apply will be able to participate. This event is one of a kind so sign up soon!
Win a $15,000 media advertising package from Indiana's News Center!
The People's Choice award winner will be awarded a $15,000 media advertising package courtesy of the Indiana's News Center! This includes the production of a 30 second spot! The People's Choice winner is the salon who brings in the most money for the Allen County SPCA.

Weekly Makeovers to kick-off CatWalk fundraiser. Nominations accepted now!
Know someone special who really deserves a makeover? In anticipation of our fashionable fall fundraiser, the Allen County SPCA is honored to give away a makeover a week, EVERY WEEK, between now and Catwalk! Makeovers are courtesy of The Hair Department and The Loft hair skin nails. Each Tuesday, a winner will be chosen and announced on INSight. The deserving and very lucky person will receive an extensive list of salon services, including shampoo, deep conditioning treatment, cut, custom color, style, hand and arm massage, makeup and eyebrow design. Plus, each winner gets a go-home goody bag from the salons!
